9. On the Next Screen Deactivation or deletion, you need to select your Instagram Profile/Account (in case you have multiple accounts. (as shown below), if you have only one Instagram account, this screen may not popup for you.
   
10. On the Next and Final Screen, you need to Select “Deactivate your account temporarily” or “Delete account.” Now you need to select your required option and Click on Continue button.
    

Please Note: You may not be able to delete your account from the Accounts Center immediately It will take some time or a few days.

After your account is deleted, you can sign up again with the same username or add that username to another account as long as it hasn’t been taken by a new person on Instagram.
